Gigabyte brought in the Aorus lineup to add flare to their components. It worked! The Z270X Gaming 7 looks amazing, but it has overclocking performance to match. It’s a bit of a pricey motherboard, but the price matches the quality and features.
Note: For those who might not understand chipset differences, the testing results do not show the Sabertooth R2.0 performing poorly, but show the differences of new and old systems. The Sabertooth is my favorite 990FX board, but it uses the older FX-8350 CPU and DDR3 memory. Naturally, that will perform far below the levels of Z270.
